A disabled dog, who was born without its front legs, is living his life to the fullest after receiving an animal wheelchair.
Three-year-old Loki was rescued from the home of a hoarder and was then adopted by a couple named Katie Orsenigo and Ron Petruska.
They adopted Loki from Alabama and brought him to their home in New York. Loki, who was born without its front legs because of close breeding, was unable to run and play.
The vet then advised the couple to get him a wheelchair to get around and then he was fitted an animal wheelchair.
Loki is now able to run, play and enjoy his life to the fullest.

Loki has been through a lot and his owners now want him to enjoy his life like any other dog.
Katie said that she came across the story of Loki on Petfinder and instantly fell in love with him.
She said: “He looked so happy in spite of everything. My fiancé and I were thrilled when they told us we could adopt him.”
“Even though he seemed happy just scooting around on his chest, our vet said it would really hurt his back in the future if he kept doing it, so we started the motions of getting him a new wheelchair.”
“It was really hard at first – he kept tripping over it and falling on his neck. But we’ve made some adjustments now and it works really well. It’s great because he definitely associates his wheels as being a happy thing.”
Katie says people stop them as they find Loki very cute and the couple gets a positive response when they see Loki using the wheelchair.
She said: “It’s like Beyonce is on the street, people stop me and ask me questions about him, they just can’t resist his big smile.
He’s so cute, people can’t really resist him.
Even though my other dog Marley is really grumpy, they have become friends. ”Katie has started an organization ‘From Hope to Home’ for animal foster parents who help dogs in need and it’s Loki who inspired her.
Loki is now happy and enjoying the things he always deserved. He has loving and caring owners who take care of him and treat him the way he deserves to be treated.
