A disabled man used his right arm to cling onto a lorry’s rear bumper near Pretoria, South Africa to get around.
A man on a wheelchair held on to a lorry’s rear bumper while another motorway driver filmed the incident.
The footage, which was posted on Facebook, instantly went viral, with some claiming that the man regularly does this.
Internet users slammed the disabled man for performing the dangerous stunt. One wrote:
‘Probably doing something similar is how he ended up in a wheelchair in the first place’
Another said: ‘Shouldn’t do things like that. That’s a good way to end up in a wheelchair.’
The third one wrote: ‘And you wonder why he’s in a wheelchair in the first place…’
While some Internet users found it funny as one wrote: ‘Plot twist: He got in an accident and was unparalyzed!’
‘I guess if you’re in a wheelchair already, why not?’ another wrote.
One wrote: ‘good news, if he falls, he can’t hurt his legs anymore’
South Africa’s Road Traffic Management Corporation also slammed the wheelchair user as they said:
‘In a country where we lose 14,000 people annually who die as a result of road crashes, this is totally unacceptable. We condemn this dangerous behaviour’.
