We have all watched The Little Mermaid and fell in love with the cute little mermaid that only wished to spread love around.
Her innocence had a power that attracted us all and we fell in love with her.
Sadly it was an animated movie and we never got to see the beauty in real life. We wish we could get a chance to see Ariel in real life action.
Wait, your wish has just been granted.
What? Yes, you read it right. Ariel is coming out to life.
Disney has decided to make a live action film of The Little Mermaid and for the same; they have chosen to cast Halle Bailey as Ariel.
Oh, how we wish to see her swim around the ocean with her stunning green tail and that smile on her face. Yes, Halle Bailey is going to bring our Ariel alive.
Along with her, Awkwafina and Jacob Tremblay have also been chosen to play Scuttle and Flounder.
And if we are talking about the entire cast, how can we leave the evil behind. Yes, I am talking about the evil queen Ursula here that is being played by Melissa McCarthy.
In his statement, the director of the film Rob Marshall said we carried out an extensive search to find out our Ariel.
It was after a long struggle that we settled down for Halle as the 19 years old singer posses all the qualities they need in their Ariel. She has the touch of innocence with your flourishing in her; she has the spirit and the boldness. And to top all that, she has a melodious voice.
So are you excited for the film to come out because we for sure are? I hope Ariel comes out at her best.
