When singers cover their favorite songs of the artists they admire, they are sometimes worried that they might not do well but enjoy the process itself of making a song.
They rearrange the song, record using their own voices, and play instruments of their own.
So as they hear the news that an original songwriter or singer likes the cover version, they are so delighted.
When heavy metal group Disturbed recorded a Simon & Garfunkel‘s big hit, ‘The Sound Of Silence’ for their 2015 collection Immortalized, the band had no clue what would come next.
