A doctor in Sydney is in isolation right now after she caught coronavirus from and infected college who works in the emergency department.
Following the same, the doctor is now urging the businesses, universities, and schools to lockdown as a protective measure against the spread of this virus.
Dr. Cathie Hull is now locked inside her house after she said she worked with a male colleague at the emergency department of Ryde Hospital.
The male colleague was tested positive with the virus on February 23.
Dr. Hull has now written down an online article sharing her fears of the virus and making her request to lock down schools, universities, and businesses as soon as it can get done.
She wrote “We should lockdown schools, universities, and businesses on an urgent basis. Get more isolated beds in hospitals.
Free up more life support bed. Get the support equipment ready, and take proper measures to avoid it as much as we all can.”
“Other than people working on their bit, they also expect the government to take the measures to impose more security form the virus.”
“Corona is deadly to the people with lack of immunity marking the elderly and vulnerable.
To keep them safe, we should keep them locked inside the house for their protection.”
“The lockdown is needed for at least 2 weeks and yes it is going to be expensive but it is necessary.
Two weeks later, the virus will automatically be out of the system.”
Dr. Hull also added that while this is the right time to take the measure, the same will be extremely difficult later.
If we commit to isolation and avoid the spread for weeks and even months we will be at a good pace of eliminating it out of the system.
The vaccinations can still take months to develop and till then the protective measure is the only thing that can keep us against and from the virus.
