Shocking footage shows the moment a four-foot-long snake was pulled from a patient’s throat after the animal allegedly sneaked in while the woman was sleeping.
As The Sun reported, the incident took place in Russia whereas the Ministry of Health in Dagestan is investigating the footage to determine its authenticity.
In the video, the doctors are seen pulling a long snake from a female patient’s throat before dropping the reptile in a nearby bucket.
As the snake is being removed from the woman’s throat, the medics are heard gasping in amazement due to the animal’s length.
According to the reports, the patient was rushed to the hospital after reporting feeling unwell. Once in the care of her doctors, she was placed under general anesthesia and the doctors inserted a tube inside her throat.
Eventually, they were able to locate the four-foot-long snake and slowly pull it out of the patient’s throat.
It is unclear whether the snake was still alive or already dead at the time the doctors removed it. While it is also unclear how it got in, reports suggest that the reptile slithered into the woman’s throat while she was sleeping at her home in the mountainous village of Levashi.
According to the reports, older locals often advise younger generations not to sleep outside due to instances like this allegedly happening before.
