Dog The Bounty Hunter has been mourning after his beloved wife Beth Chapman passed away following a long battle with cancer.
Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman and his 51-year-old wife rose to fame after launching a reality TV show called Dog The Bounty Hunter in which the Chapmans worked as bounty hunters who had been catching real fugitives.
Now, the Dog was forced to share grim news with the fans of the show as his wife had passed away from cancer.
“It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain,” Duane wrote in a post.
“Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side.”
Following the 51-year-old’s tragic death, Bonnie Chapman also paid a tribute to her mom in which she wrote:
“So thankful to call you my mother. Rest In Peace, mom. I love you so much.”
“I never thought I’d lose my mom at 20. I told her I thought she had a couple years left, but her eyes disagreed,” the proud daughter later added.
Mrs. Chapman passed away from cancer after fighting the disease for years. She was initially diagnosed with stage II throat cancer in 2017 but was deemed to be cancer-free after undergoing tumor removal surgery.
In November 2018, however, the disease struck Beth once again and she was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer.
During the mother’s final days at the Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, the Chapman family gathered to honor Beth and lift her spirits. On Wednesday, June 26, however, Mrs. Chapman passed away.
She is survived by her 4 children, Garry, Bonnie Jo, Cecily, And Dominic, and her 14 grandchildren.
