An adorable dog has gone viral thanks to his love for being a foster parent to rescue kittens that end up at his home.
Raylan the dog is an Instagram celebrity with over 20k followers who visit his page to receive a good dose of sweet pictures in which the pooch is seen cuddling with foster cats.
“Raylan is a purebred mutt who enjoys getting beer for loved ones, road trips, and cuddling with his foster kittens,” the pup’s Instagram description reads.
As seen in the good boy’s photos, Raylan loves to share his couch with the kittens and sometimes also gives them a ‘bath’ and carries them around the home.
“Definitely the best dog in the entire world,” Raylan’s owner captioned one of the dog’s photos.
Meanwhile, another adorable and protective dog has been pictured cuddling with orphaned fawns that his owner rescued.
Sarge the German Shepherd is a tough-looking pooch with a gentle heart who loves to take care of animals that his owner, Cheryl Stephen, brings on their farm.
“We live on a little ‘farm’ in Ohio, but the animals here aren’t raised for food. They’re raised to be loved and cherished, like all animals should be,” Cheryl said according to Bored Panda.
While it is mum’s job to rescue animals with no one to look after them, Sarge contributes to the common good by babysitting them and making sure they’re always watched over.
As Cheryl told Bored Panda, Sarge wasn’t a softie when they got him nine years ago. Allegedly, he was on the edgy side and loved biting toes until he met the family’s first rescue fawn.
“A family friend found a baby deer lying in the middle of a road. He watched and waited for the mom to return but she never did. He knew we were animal lovers, so the fawn was brought here,” the woman added in an interview with Bored Panda.
Since then, Sarge has taken over the role of a babysitter who keeps constant watch over rescue animals at the farm.
Nowadays, the family continues taking care of those in need while sharing pictures of their precious moments on Instagram.
