Stray Dog Found Warming Five Abandoned Kittens on Side of Snowy Road


A stray dog was found keeping a litter of five kittens alive by cuddling the newborns, who had been abandoned in the snow on a freezing cold night in Canada.

A stray dog, named Serenity, in Canada, was found by the side of a road, doing something worth praising and sharing.

Serenity was guarding and keeping five kittens warm by the side of the road in Ontario.

It is still unknown that from where and how these kittens were dumped or abandoned.

Serenity and five-kittens were rescued by Pet And Wildlife Rescue after a kind-hearted citizen informed the shelter about them.

When the stray dog was carrying and keeping the kitten safe, a kind-hearted local citizen informed the authorities about it and later all six animals were rescued and taken to a safe shelter.

This adorable stray dog was named Serenity by shelter workers.

It is estimated that Serenity is only 2 years old, having a lot of energy.

According to shelter workers, Serenity loves to visit outside and runs in circles around any object or person.

Moreover, as this is a stray dog, so she needs to be taught some manners.

A shelter spokesman said the kittens’ Serenity rescued are currently in a foster home and will be put up for adoption as soon as they are old enough.

They have said that while they would like to offer the dog and kittens together, doing so would mean Serenity has to wait several months to find her forever home.

Serenity’s good deed has also seen the shelter flooded with offers from prospective new owners keen to rescue the dog.

The shelter said she is ‘obviously great with cats’ and would happily live in a home with kitties.

Serenity, who is believed to be around two years old, also loves playing outside but is a little too boisterous to live with children or other dogs with dominant personalities.
