“An older, tired-looking dog wandered into my yard; I could tell from his collar and well-fed belly that he had a home and was well taken care of.”

Whenever she walked into the house, the dog would always follow.
The woman would scratch his head, making the dog feel welcomed. After a few moments with her, he would walk a little further into the house, curl up in a quiet corner, and take a nap.
When the dog wakes up, he would leave the woman’s house, but, only to return each day after that.
After a couple of days, the woman was curious and concerned as to why the dog would come over to sleep. Ever so curious, she attached a note to his collar. It reads
“I would like to find out who the owner of this wonderful sweet dog is and ask if you are aware that almost every afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap.”

The next day, when he had arrived for his daily nap, there was a note for the woman who had been so hospitable to the dog.
“He lives in a home with 6 children, 2 under the age of 3 he’s trying to catch up on his sleep. Can I come with him tomorrow?”
We all knew that dogs can be empathetic and share our feelings, but who knew that even dogs could feel so exhausted that they need to go somewhere quiet to take a nap?
