The owner decides to film the hilarious moment and approached the “offender” who is named Clark. The owner asks, “What are you doing in there?” But the dog doesn’t react. Then he continues with, “Excuse me, Clark.” And that’s when the dog finally turns to him and looks with those adorable and pleading eyes, as if the pooch was begging to just please let him stay.

Clark’s buddy, another dog, is also with him in the bathroom though he wasn’t as enthusiastic and just stayed by the side of the tub. It’s so funny how Clark took over the bathroom and it’s clear that this guy would give no trouble at all when it’s his bath time!

Dogs have varied personalities just like humans do. Some just love being in the water while others will practically start shaking with fear the moment they know it’s time for their bath. But physiologically some dogs are better built for swimming than other breeds.

For example, Greyhounds and the Doberman with their sleek physique are more suited for running.point 81 | Then there are swimming breeds like Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Portuguese Water Dog, Spanish Water Dog and the Scottish Water Retriever.point 201 |

What distinguishes them from other breeds is that they have an inter-digital membrane in their paws that facilitates faster swimming.point 114 | Have any of these breeds as a pet and you’ll need to keep a sharp eye out whenever you pass near a body of water lest they suddenly take off without thinking!point 247 | 1

However, it’s not just the breed of the dog that matters but how you introduce them to the concept of water. If they almost drowned as a puppy or had some other bad experience when they were being given a bath, these things will largely influence whether your pet will love water or absolutely hate it.

Of course, if your dog loves water you’ll need to make sure they don’t run wild. There have been cases of dogs taking the garden hose inside the house and turning it into their personal water park while the owners were away at work! If you don’t want to come home to a massive clean-up then you need to make sure your dog also knows their boundaries.

For Clark in the video above, it’s obvious that he thinks his boundaries also encompass the bathtub!
