A smart dog named Negro, who lives at the Diversified Technical Education Institute of Monterrey Casanare in Colombia, decided to buy dog treats using leaves.
Negro, who was adopted by the school staff, would sometimes get cookies by the students.
However, one day, he decided to buy his own cookies using leaves as he saw students getting cookies in exchange for money.
A teacher named Angela Garcia Bernal told The Dodo: “One day, spontaneously, he appeared with a leaf in his mouth, wagging his tail and letting it be known that he wanted a cookie.”
“When you first see it, you will almost want to cry.
Negro has found a way to make himself understood. He’s very intelligent,” Bernal added.
The store’s attendant had to give Negro a cookie after seeing how smart he is.
Gladys Barreto, the store attendant, told The Dodo: “He comes for cookies every day. He always pays with a leaf. It is his daily purchase.”
Since then, Negro is using his fake money to buy everything a couple of times a day.
