You might have come across with the stories where people do something extraordinary to help reunite lost dogs with their owners, but the story which you would read now will definitely restore your faith in humanity.
Jason Gasparik has special love for dogs and that’s what he always receives in return. He is very active in trying to take lost dogs to their owners even if it means going extra miles.
He’d do anything to make sure that the dogs are at a safe place and not straying on the streets. But one time he did something so applaudable that went viral across the internet and people are calling him ‘role model’ for humans.
On March 1st, he was crossing a road where he saw a chocolate Labrador scurrying across a busy street. At first sight, he came to know that the owner had lost this dog and something needs to be done.
He approached the Labrador and after making him feel comfortable, he tried to check his chip, but unfortunately, it wasn’t registered. Instead of giving up, he went online and posted dog’s photos everywhere on the internet and also in different Facebook Groups.
A friend of her, Becky came across the post and offered her help. Gasparik wrote in one of his Facebook posts, “Becky was able to track the chip to the breeder in PA.
The breeder that gave us the name and # of the lady he gave the dog to.” Luckily they were able to get in touch with the owner of the shop, who remembered giving a Chocolate Lab 4-5 years ago, but unluckily she was on vacations and would come back to PA after a week.
Instead of waiting for one week, Gasparik decided to do something unusual. He stood at a corner of a road with a sign, “Do you know this lost dog?”.
When people passing by, saw him, they also started taking his and the dog’s pictures and uploading on Facebook. Eventually, a network was formed and someone was able to get in touch with the owner.
Luckily the owner arrived where Gasparik was standing and when the dog saw his owner, he rushed towards him, hugged him and started shaking his tale.
Dog and owner are happily reunited, and it was all because of Gasparik who made it possible.
