Becoming a big brother or sister comes with excitement, happiness, and many other positive emotions.

However, it can also bring out jealousy in older siblings as the parents’ attention need to be on the new member of the family.

To make sure Molly won’t feel less important once the baby arrived, her parents built her a brand new bedroom under the stairs!

Molly was about to become a big sister to a human, baby Catelyn. So her parents build her a room where she could seek comfort whenever she needed a break from the baby’s crying.

“She is the best wee dog who had been very spoiled up to this point, so we didn’t want her to feel less important when the baby arrived!”

Michael McGowan found the best place where Molly could relax – under the stairs!

After checking the place, he remodeled that part of the house for big sister Molly.

With the help of Paul McArdle of Prestige Household Solutions, he framed up the area, cut enough for the doorway, added plasterboard, and had the sweet pooch check it out.

Molly now has the cutest doggie wallpaper. She also has lighting that changes colors. A cute velvet cough next to her dog bed is also filled with her favorite stuffed toys!

“Luckily she likes her new home better than the one in the garden.”

The rug in Molly’s room also has a funny description: one spoiled dog lives here.

Wow, what a beautiful canine room perfect for a doggy princess! There’s no doubt that she will be the best canine sister to the new member of the family.
