A dog owner has come up with a sweet letter for his neighbors after they asked him if they could play with his pooch because they’re not allowed to have pets in their apartment.
As Jack McCrossan revealed, he and his three mates, who all love dogs, live together in an apartment that doesn’t allow pets.
And so, Jack and his friends came upon the idea to beg their neighbor if they could play with or look after his dog, Stevie Ticks, in their free time.
“The other day, we noticed a four-legged friend looking at us out the window when we arrived home from work. He or She looked like the good-est boy/girl there is,” the letter read.
“If you ever need someone to walk him/her, we will gladly do so. If you ever get bored … we are more than happy to look after him/her … If you want to come over and bring him/her to brighten up our day, you are more than welcome.”
Soon enough, the four friends received a reply written in Stevie’s name and signed off with her pawprint.
“We were ecstatic at the response and couldn’t wait to walk her. Once we saw the paw print on the envelope, we knew it was good news!” Jack said.
Speaking of their first get-together with Stevie, Jack told Bored Panda that everything went well and that the pooch is a very energetic one.
“She is very energetic, puppy-like and friendly! We got to take her for a walk and she wouldn’t stop running. We’ve all had a mixture of pets from cats and dogs to hamsters, fish and guinea pigs,” he explained.
“It’s from our tenancy agreement because it’s in a student/young professional area it’s quite common. The part-time dog-sitting works well since we’re all at work all day anyway! A win-win situation.”
