Thanks to the intelligent pup, people can now enjoy wines while fulfilling the requirements of social distancing.

Like other hotels and resorts in the United States, Stone House Urban Winery based in Hagerstown, Maryland, also confined its services to just delivery and take-away.

To make the no-contact service possible, co-owner of the wine cellar, Lori Yata, decided to take help from her 11-year-old puppy called Soda Pup.

The post read: “Mom says that we all have to pitch in and pull our weight, that includes me as well.

“So, if you are out shopping and have kids in the car, or just want to keep your distance from other folks, give us a call and place your order.”

After wearing his delivery gear that consists of a perfectly stitched saddlebag with two pockets, Soda Pup supplies two wine bottles at the same time to the customers standing outside the facility.

Yata told WJLA that the dog is given proper rest time and several breaks between his duty hours.

Speaking to Herald Mail, the owner of the 75-pound Bullboxer Pit, said: “We tuck the wine in his vest and send him out with the wine bottles.

“If people don’t want to come in contact with us physically, dogs are not supposed to be able to carry the virus.”

Revealing how her business flourished after she acquired the service of the adorable fella, Yata said: “We’ve had people call in just specifically to have Soda Pup bring wine out to them.

“People have come in who were never here before. They said they came in because they saw the post about Soda Pup and they wanted to come and meet him.
