It is often said that dogs come into our lives, leave paw prints on our hearts, and we are forever changed.
Indeed losing your beloved dog is very heartbreaking and for most of the people, the grief could last for weeks and months.
But dogs definitely deserve this much love as they are the only species on the planet that love us more than they love themselves.
Therefore, most of the times, the loss of a beloved dog that you have raised since it was a puppy could be very heart-wrenching.
In these tough times, you need someone to support you and hold your back. We expect this kind of support from our friends and family members but luckily there are always a few people who’d support you and these are the people you expect the least.
For example, did you ever think customer service could share your sorrows in these tough times? Probably No! But for Joseph Inabnet, things happened totally different.
Joseph lost his pet dog Bailey in October last year. Even though he was very heartbroken, he decided to return the unused food items to Chewy – a pet store.
When Joseph called the customer service telling them the whole story, they responded saying that he could donate the food to some other pet owner and he’d get the full refund for that food too.
Joseph couldn’t believe what he heard but a few days later, the food amount was transferred to his bank account. Not only that, just after a couple of days, he received a mail from Chewy and when he opened it, he couldn’t control his tears.
There was an oil painting of his dog, Bailey and very beautiful words to console him on his pet dog’s death.

Joseph was so happy with this beautiful jesture shown by Chewy and he decided to share the whole experience on Facebook. And within a few days, his post went viral and people across the States started thanking Chewy for their nice gesture.
