Dogs are considered as human’s best friend and no dog owner would deny this fact.
Dog owners often go on and on when it comes to praising their little pets. But how many of them would be willing to cut 5 years out of their life for their beloved dog?
Recently, one Reddit user asked this question in a post and asked the reason for doing so. Another Reddit user’s reply to the question went viral.
The Redditor is named Experimentallity and they mentioned in the reply, how their dog Daisy, a bull terrier, fought a bear very bravely and saved them and their kids.
Experimentallity told everyone that their family was on a vacation at a cabin in Maine and as they were walking from the lake, a beer caught them up. It was dark and they couldn’t recognize the bear until it stood up.
The bear was 6 feet tall, and was standing between them and cabin and made a noise like a dinosaur.
But then their 15-year-old dog attacked the bear from behind and they were able to run away. After a bit of time, they chased around and found their dog in a badly injured condition.
The user mentioned the love they possess for the dog and how they owe her three whole lives and not just 5 years.
Other users also showed interest in the story as one of them asked if the dog recovered or not. To which the owner replied that she did recover but don’t go for walks because of her age and some of the injuries.
Another one said that Daisy can even take 5 years of her life. Many of them sent daisy good wishes.
After reading this story, other people also shared stories of their dogs saving their lives and becoming their heroes.
