This video shows a diving dog jumping from a clifftop into St Peter’s Pool in Malta with her owner.
49-year-old Carmelo Abela had a Jack Russell Terrier named Titti who performed synchronized dives with her owner.
Titti became an internet sensation after a video of her jumping from a clifftop into St Peter’s Pool in Malta with his owner went viral.
People started loving Titti after her video went viral. One user commented on the video: ‘Not only does that Jack Russell dive, but it dives with style.
I rate it a 9.5’ while another wrote: ‘Absolutely awesome. Jacks are the best dogs in the world. You have to own one and be a good owner to understand!’
One user joked: ‘That really awkward moment when a dog has a better life than you do’.
Her owner Carmelo, who works for Transport Malta, said people were messaging him and asking when they were going to the beach so they could take a picture with Titti.
The owner said Titti jumped only with him as she trusted him. Carmelo told Barcroft TV: “She trusts me and whatever I do, she does it.
When I tell her to jump, she jumps. But if anyone else tries to jump with her she won’t – she just trusts me.”
“The bond we built together, me and her, it’s incredible.”
Titti was four months old when she first started jumping. Initially, she was a little hesitant to jump but then she started loving jumping with her owner.
Carmelo said at the time: “When we arrive she is anxious, she won’t wait until I take my clothes off and she wants to dive. She’s amazing – she is crazy about jumping.”
“They are starting to call her the jumping dog now – she is becoming famous.”
Sadly, Titti passed away earlier this year after suffering from heart problems.
