The fearful mother was trying to help her litter, but because of being tightly chained to a gate, she wasn’t able to.

Thankfully, someone found the dogs in such a helpless state and informed the police and the Irish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

The dogs were hungry and in a bad state, so they were immediately transported to the ISPCA animal center, which is in Longford.

Fortunately, after the health checkup, it was clear that there are no serious issues.

There is no information on how long the dogs have been left alone in the fields, but there are actions being taken to find out about the cruel person who abandoned the dogs like this.

Hugh O’Toole, who is the center manager at ISPCA, says that it was an awful step taken by the person who left the two-year-old dog tied up so tightly without any food, shelter, or water.

It was so bad to see the dog being left alone like this with the litter. It is suggested to the pet owners to spay their pets if they do not want them to give birth to unwanted animals.

It’s unfair and cruel to tie a dog and leave it without any food in this cold weather. The outcome could have been worse if the center hadn’t known about the dog. The dogs will remain in the care of the center till New Year until they find a new home.
