As millions of people work from home due to coronavirus pandemic, many enjoy being with their loved ones and don’t think it’s tough.
But for others, it means they have to make big adjustments to make sure they’re doing their job well.
Not having a proper office is one thing, and then there are kids and pets around who want your constant attention, making noises and definitely a lot of disturbances.
Chief meteorologist Paul Dellegatto of Fox News 13 in Tampa Bay found that out the hard way when his loving pooch jumped on him during a live-at-home broadcast.
Dellegatto was in the middle of doing forecast from his home when Brody ‘whacked the computer with his head’ and stopped the device from showing forecast animations.
“Let me just verbalize the forecast,” Delegatto said before disciplining the cute pooch. “That wasn’t very smart.”
He then asked the playful golden retriever to jump on his lap and Brody finally got the attention he was craving. Yay!
There is no doubt that Dellegatto is a professional and also a dog lover. He also has a framed photo of his previous dog, Sparky.
The weatherman hinted that the interruption could be because Brody wanted to be fed and promised the pooch he would get some food after the forecast. “We’re going to eat after this,” he told Brody.
One Facebook user wrote: “Paul this is your new assistant love you and Brody both love it when my news channel shows being normal like all the rest of us love the pets.”
Another wrote: “I love that he has a picture of his dog on his desk in the background. Loved this and seeing the love for your pup. So sweet!”
A third added: “Paul it was good to have the dog help you with the weather. We all need a good laugh during this time. The dog put smiles on many faces!”
