Following his wife’s tragic death, Dog the Bounty Hunter has spoken out and revealed the last words his partner in life had told him before she passed away.
As Mr. Chapman explained, his wife repeatedly asked him to mention Jesus’ name while he was holding her hand.
“When she had an attack I didn’t know anything to do but to say ‘in Jesus’ name’ and hold her and when I said ‘in Jesus’ name’ she said ‘Say it again, say it more,’” Dog recalled.
Struggling to hold back his tears, the bounty hunter expressed:
“And then she, you know, she told the girls and everybody with her mouth and stuff she said I love you guys, are you guys all OK? But she never accepted it.”
“Beth isn’t dead, she’s sleeping,” Mr. Chapman added.
Joking about still feeling her presence in their home, Dog said:
“Beth was somewhat of a controlling person. Not from the grave but from heaven she’s still controlling me. Notes in my pillowcase, on my sink, in my shaving thing… she’s still telling me what to wear.”
51-year-old Beth Chapman has passed away after a years-long battle with cancer. Following her death, Dog shared a touching post in which he wrote:
“It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain. Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side.”
Mrs. Chapman passed away from cancer after fighting the disease for years. She was initially diagnosed with stage II throat cancer in 2017 but was deemed to be cancer-free after undergoing tumor removal surgery.
In November 2018, however, the disease struck Beth once again and she was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer.
During the mother’s final days at the Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, the Chapman family gathered to honor Beth and lift her spirits. On Wednesday, June 26, however, Mrs. Chapman passed away.
She is survived by her 4 children, Garry, Bonnie Jo, Cecily, And Dominic, and her 14 grandchildren.
