A German Shepherd/Border Collie mix was left with a wonky face after his mother attacked him when he was only 13 days old finally found a forever home.
The attack left Brodie’s face disfigure, leaving him partially blind. But Brad Ames and Amanda Richter fell in love the moment they laid their eyes on him.
The pooch’s new owners don’t care about his wonky face. They knew the moment they saw Brodie that he was meant to be a part of their family so they adopted him right away.
They even created an Instagram page for the adorable pooch to share his life and how loving he can be. His videos show him playing with a ball and others show him scratching his head just like any other dog.
Some fans wanted to see Brodie’s photos when he was a puppy, so the owners shared a photo and wrote: “A lot of you guys asked what Brodie looked liked as a puppy…..so here you go! Thanks to his old family for getting in touch and showing us just how sweet of a baby he was!”
Brodie’s photos quickly went viral and people online flocked to his Instagram.
“It’s not hard to see why everyone loves this little goofball as much we do lol. We hope that all this recognition will help others make the decision to rescue and adopt, especially those “less than perfect” animals out there! They deserve love as much as anyone. Thanks for all the love! Support your local rescues and shelters guys!” Brodie’s owners wrote.
One internet user commented: “This makes my heart happy. YOU BETTER LOVE HIM SO MUCH.”
Another wrote: “He’s Adorable!!. THANK you for caring and proving love has no boundaries….ever.”
A third added: “I’d take him in a heartbeat he is beautiful wishing him best life ever in his new life.”
