Writing a hit song is not easy for even a talented musician.
What’s the harder job? Creating a song that would last for several decades.
Dolly Parton, one of the greatest musicians in the world, has done a wonderful job to write everlasting songs. She has made a big step for women in the entertainment over the decades and helped fellow female entertainers to work in a better environment.

She is now 70; she has composed over 3,000 songs and still performs on the stages. She creates new songs every year. She has got 8 Grammy Awards, 2 Academy Award nominations, 10 Country Music Association Awards, 7 Academy of Country Music Awards, 3 American Music Awards, and 46 Grammy nominations.
In the video below, Old Country Store Cracker Barrel prepares a stage for Parton and the a cappella singers Pentatonix to sing one of her classics, “Jolene.” As she toured in a large scale this tear, Pentatonix supported her by creating a unique sound with their voices.
With Parton’s voice leading the way, their harmony makes everyone chill. I have to say; this is my favorite version of Jolene.
