The company is now seeking more than $1.3 billion in damages over Giuliani’s groundless fraud allegations and claims that the company played a role in altering the election outcome.

“For Dominion – whose business is producing and providing voting systems for elections – there are no accusations that could do more to damage Dominion´s business or to impugn Dominion´s integrity, ethics, honesty, and financial integrity,” the company insists in the lawsuit.

“Giuliani’s statements were calculated to – and did in fact – provoke outrage and cause Dominion enormous harm.”

As Dominion claimed, top company executives were forced to go into hiding after receiving threats from angry Trump supporters who were told their business was fraudulent by Giuliani.

In addition, the company insists that the disgraced attorney made money off his ungrounded claims via his podcast in which he was selling cigars and supplements.

“Dominion brings this action to set the record straight, to vindicate the company’s rights under civil law, to recover compensatory and punitive damages, and to stand up for itself, its employees, and the electoral process,” the lawsuit says.

Despite getting cornered by the voting machine company, Giuliani vowed to fight the lawsuit and investigate their history and practices.

“Dominion’s defamation lawsuit for $1.3B will allow me to investigate their history, finances, and practices fully and completely,” the lawyer said in a statement shared by WABC.

“The amount being asked for is, quite obviously, intended to frighten people of faint heart.

“It is another act of intimidation by the hate-filled left-wing to wipe out and censor the exercise of free speech, as well as the ability of lawyers to defend their clients vigorously.

“As such, we will investigate a countersuit against them for violating these Constitutional rights.”

Meanwhile, Dominion’s lawyer, Thomas Clare, confirmed that the former president could also face a similar lawsuit shortly.

“We’re not ruling anybody out. Obviously, this lawsuit against the president’s lawyer moves one step closer to the former president and understanding what his role was and wasn’t,” Clare told the New York Times.
