Lee Rumney, 29, was celebrating the birth of Freddie, his six-week-old son, on Friday.
He was with his friends in Houghton le Springs in Sunderland, his homeland.
He asked his girlfriend, Hannah Eddon, 26, to not sleep until he’s home, as he had forgotten his key.
Hannah, on the other hand, was enjoying peacefully with Freddie at home.
Lee returned home, after 12 hours of drinking, at 1 am. He then asked Hannah to wake up and answer the door as he has ordered a Dominos.
When she opened the door for the delivery guy she was equally shocked and embarrassed as she saw that her beloved boyfriend had ordered one large pizza, a side of wedges, one garlic bread, a box of cookies and FIFTEEN sides of chicken wings.
The food totaled for £177($226). Hannah said that she was hoping for the order to be pre-paid as she only had £20 at home.
She then took the delivery guy’s help to bring everything in the kitchen.
Then she went upstairs to tell Lee that his food has arrived, only to find that he had passed out and refused to wake up for anything.
Also, the smell of chicken wings was wafting through their house.
When Lee woke up the next morning, he didn’t remember anything.
He got embarrassed only after he got to know that he spent £177 on a take-out which was not even hot now.
Initially, Lee had asked Hannah to order the food, but due to some issues in the app, she was not able to do that and Lee had to place the order.
They realized later that Lee added the chicken wings again and again in his basket and thought they had not registered it before paying.
Lee has been eating cold chicken for three days, as his punishment and Hannah have vowed to not let him order again, ever.
