Domino’s is coming up with something very exciting this year as it just revealed a one-of-a-kind slice of pizza the design for a diamond-encrusted, pizza-shaped engagement ring on its Twitter page.
The tweet read: ‘’Does someone have a ‘pizza’ your heart? We’re giving one lucky pizza lover the chance to pop the question with this diamond pizza slice engagement ring.’’
The pizza chain also revealed the ring is worth more than $9,000. According to their website, fans can enter to win the ring by submitting a 30-second video “detailing how you will involve pizza in your proposal.”
The instruction on the website read: ‘’Think you’ve found your slice of heaven and are ready to say, ‘I cheese you’? We’re giving one lucky pizza lover the chance to make a truly dough-mantic proposal this Valentine’s Day.’’
‘’For your chance to win a one-of-a-kind pizza slice engagement ring worth more than $9,000, simply complete the form below and include a 30-second video detailing how you will involve pizza in your proposal!’’
Domino’s Chief Marketing Officer Allan Collins said: ‘How many great love stories have started over a slice? How many awkward dates have been saved by the arrival of the pizza delivery?’
‘Pizza is made to be shared with the ones we love, so this year we want to honor that with something really special and help create the greatest, if not the cheesiest, proposal ever.’
Mr. Collins also said the winners would be provided with catered pizzas on the day of their wedding. The winners will be announced in secret to not ruin the surprise for their loved one.
