Donald Trump Jr took aim at fellow Republicans as he accused them of wanting to lose gracefully rather than push back against alleged election fraud.
In an interview with Fox News, the former president’s son doubled down on his father’s election fraud allegations and slammed his party for not having the guts to push back.
“There’s no natural pushback. The Republicans aren’t willing to do it. They have shown that over the decades,” the 43-year-old businessman told Sean Hannity less than two months after the MAGA mob stormed the US Capitol during a joint session of Congress.
“They’d just rather lose gracefully, I guess. That’s not really a plan that I would go with, but it’s what they’ve done.”
The loyal son also went on to praise the 45th president for standing up for his beliefs and not backing down on his election fraud allegations despite the opposition he had been facing.
“Donald Trump has shown that you don’t have to do that. You can actually push back,” emboldened Trump Jr. added before taking aim at tech giants and accusing them of trying to destroy his party.
“We don’t have a level playing field. You have multi-trillion dollar industries between the mainstream media and big tech doing whatever they can to destroy the Republican party.”
The 43-year-old’s comments follow nearly two months after the deadly insurrection that shook the foundation of democracy and resulted in Trump getting impeached for the second time.
