The POTUS appeared in high spirits before and during the play, whereas he was seen rubbing elbows with the players in the locker room before appearing in the field.

As it appeared, the cheerful welcome was quite the opposite of the booing Trump was subjected to while attending the World Series baseball match in Washington, DC, just one month before this event.

Before the game kicked off, Trump was also seen donning his remodeled 2020 campaign baseball cap that reads ‘Keep America Great.’

Besides the standing ovation he received after tossing the coin, Trump was also greeted with loud cheering as Defense Secretary Esper explained POTUS’s decision to permit military academics to participate in sports before serving the country.

Addressing football players, Trump said:

“The last time I saw your coach, he said ‘What about a waiver?’ He say some of these guys could play for the NFL, you could play for the Yankees, you could play for the Mets, you could play basketball, but instead they have to serve a long time.

“So what we’re doing now, is you’ll go out and you’ll make a fortune and after you’re all finished with your professional career, you’ll go and you’ll serve!”
