The city, as well as any other Californian counties are, is under a statewide stay-at-home civic order, which encompasses all 40 million Californians to keep their feet within their homes unless absolutely necessary. The measure, initiated at late March, has now been extended to May 15 and will stay that way unless circumstances worsen to a certain tipping point.
California joins 39 other states that have issued the quarantine order to keep the flow of the virus down, and 97% of the US population is currently forced to say indoors in their homes, without excuses.
Arkansas, Iowa, North Dakota, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming is yet to issue such orders, while Utah’s stay-at-home will expire at the end of April, if no further actions are taken.
