Due to the condition, she was born without the fibula bone in her left leg while her right leg had one tiny fibular bone.
Daisy-May Demetre legs never grew properly and her parents, Alex and Claire, decided to have their daughter’s legs amputated below the knee.
Her dad, Alex, told Barcroft TV: “The feet never formed properly, it came like a ball – the other one very flappy and sort of unusable.
She could have a life with the legs that she was born with but it’s not a life, to be honest, she would not have been able to do anything; she would not have been able to do what she is able to do today.
”Daisy now uses prosthetic legs and lives a normal life. She has three siblings and she knows she is different.
But, she doesn’t care about being different and wants to do things that others do.
Her dad said: “I ask her all the time, to be honest about being different, her answer is that she doesn’t care and you know what, that’s exactly how I brought her up to be.
”
“Its good to be different, to stand out and it doesn’t phase her, it really doesn’t and it is amazing. She is inspirational, she is full of energy, nothing will stop her ever in life.”
Her dad Alex has created an Instagram account for Daisy and has applied to a modeling agency named Zebedee Management. Daisy has now become a model and is making her parents proud.
Alex said: “She was definitely born to do something. It sounds stupid (and there are thousands of people who don’t believe what I say) but she is going to be the most famous double amputee on this planet and I believe that to be true.”
