Each and every teenager dreams of becoming the prom queen or king.

Prom night is a very special night for the teenagers who are about to step in a new phase of their life.

Prom night has this special attraction where the most popular girl and the most popular boy of the school are announced as the prom queen and the prom king based on voting.

This couple who started dating just 3 months earlier were delighted as they were announced the prom king and the queen by their classmates.

Amelie Barker and Dylan Hughes are both 16 and have Down’s syndrome.

They are both students of Monmouth Comprehensive School, where they met and fell in love and started dating 3 months ago. They were both thrilled and filled with joy as they received the titles.

Amelie Barker and Dylan Hughes have known each other for all their lives. They first met when they were as young as 3 years old and has been childhood friends.

3 months ago, they changed their relationship in a better way and started dating each other. Their families say that both of them are head to toe in love with each other and of course their friends and classmates at the school can see that too.

They were not just great with each other but with other kids in the school too. This is why when it came to choosing their prom king and queen, as per the tradition, their classmates voted for those two and gave them the titles.

Dylan was then presented with a crown and her beloved Amelie was crowned with a tiara on the stage as they then grooved to the tunes of their prom night.
