For all the fans who had long been waiting to see what Drake’s son looks like, the star has shared the pictures of the little one in a series of Instagram posts.
The 33-year-old rap star introduced his son to the world with a number of pictures including one snapped with his mother, and Drake’s ex, adult film star Sophie Brussax.
In the wake of the current situation caused by coronavirus, Drake tried to keep people’s spirits high by posting the pictures of his son.
He said in the caption of the post: “Please keep your lights on,” adding that he is waiting desperately for the “joyful day when we are all able to reunite.”
Sophie Brussax gave birth to Drake’s son Adonis in 2017.
Drake took a paternity test to confirm if he was the father of the child and once he knew it was his son, he kept him out of the eyes of the public.
Fans had an exciting response for the pictures of the little boy who has lots of thick, curly, blond hair. One person commented: “Wow Godblesss he’s so gorgeous”.
Another fan of the rapper added: “Huge words for the [world]. I’m sure a lot of people appreciate u sharing this & it helps bring light to they life in times like these.”
Drake kept the existence of his son a secret until Pusha T, a fellow rapper, released a song in which he referred to Drake as a father.
Drake finally talked about his son in his album Scorpion.
The Canadian rap star released Scorpion on Apple Music and talked about being a dad in three of the songs of the release. These songs include: “Emotionless”, “8 Out of 10” and “March 14.”
In the song Emotionless, he raps: “I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world, I was hiding the world from my kid.” In the song “8 out of 10,” he mentions kissing his son on the forehead.
