A driver was caught speeding at 110mph and he tried to justify himself by claiming he just needed a ‘number two.

Police stopped him near Yaxley in Cambridgeshire after he was seen speeding along at 110mph in bad weather conditions.
A photo of the driver’s silver Mercedes was shared on social media by the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Policing Unit.
“A1M Yaxley. Vehicle stopped after it passed our unmarked vehicle and then decided to drive along at 110mph undertaking in awful weather conditions,” the caption read.
“The ‘professional’ HGV driver was very sorry but he ‘needed the toilet, a number 2’.
“Err, that’s okay then. Reported.”
While many people slammed the driver for his dangerous driver, other Twitter users saw the hilarious side.
One commented: “Ah a real life berk in a merc!!”
Another joked: “That’s a s*** excuse!”
A third wrote: “Bet you hadn’t heard that one, hope he managed to hold on while you did the paperwork… slowly.”
Many people had sympathy for the driver who needed a ‘number two,’ with one writing: “Hey, you gotta go, you gotta go.”
Drivers caught speeding in excess of 100mph can face one to three weeks ban from the road or 6 points on their license, according to Motor Lawyers Limited.
“Although the Police attempt to resolve most offences by way of a Fixed Penalty Notice, at excessive speeds, a Court appearance is inevitable,” MLL’s drivingban website reads.
“For speeds in excess of 100mph (or more than 30 miles above the relevant limit) the punishment starts at disqualification as opposed to penalty points.
“However, the decision is at the discretion of the Court and in certain circumstances, a disqualification can be avoided.”
