People tend to do stupid things when they’re drunk. It’s something that all of us know and understand, when we’re sober, at least.
Of course, once you started getting wasted then that little gray matter that got you through college with honors starts to lose control and you end up on viral videos that show you in all your embarrassing glory, just as one woman did when she tried to twerk her way into a police officer’s good graces by taunting him to arrest her.
We all know how something like that was supposed to end and the woman got herself thrown in jail for the night and a fine for her trouble.
The incident happened in Wales where the woman, dressed in black leggings and a jacket while clutching her pink handbag, started chatting with the officer. She then urged him to “come on” before dancing towards him.
The PC, who was unimpressed, queried her if she was going to move on but she instead saunters closer to him before he pushes her away.
She could be heard telling him, “No I’m waiting for you to arrest me,” as she continues to dance while onlookers laughed.
She then thrusts her bottom towards the officer and attempts a twerking move but only gets shoved away.
The policeman then grabs her arm and starts admonishing her that she is under arrest for drunk and disorderly conduct.
The action seems to excite the woman, who says, “Arrest me with your c**k.”
Now visibly annoyed, the officer continues with his arrest, causing the woman to fall over on the ground when he pulls her right arm behind her back.
While crouched on the ground with the cop attempting to cuff her, the woman only creates more trouble for herself by shouting, “Oh yes baby!”
Gwent Police said in a statement: “At approximately 9.30 pm a woman was arrested for drunk and disorderly and was taken into custody.
“She was released the next morning with a fixed penalty notice.”
Liam Sammars, 17, managed to take a video of the whole exchange and posted it on Facebook Friday night.
He captioned his post with the following: “Only in Newbridge would a random lass try twerking on a copper*”
Liam, from Risca, near Newport, Gwent, said: “I was at my mate’s shop, and she was really drunk, going up to people in the kebab shop.
“She was asking someone if they wanted to have a threesome, and then the boss of the kebab shop came out for a smoke and she started coming on to him, and he was just like, ‘No, I’m phoning the police.’”
Viewers were quick to condemn the woman on social media.
Kirsty Gibbons wrote: “Oh my god she’s vile.”
Sarah Kimber commented: “Shameless trout! the copper was good though. Fair play to him.”
Karen Edwards said: “Her parents should be totally ashamed! Stupid girl! Pathetic behavior! What an embarrassment she is.”
Becky Anne Kidd even joked: “So Newbridge the place to be yeah?”
