Getting married is one of the most pleasurable journey that everyone wishes to embark upon.

But, this was not the case in life of a woman who had to get married before her terminally ill father.

The woman says that her father was already suffering from cancer for the past few years. But, she didn’t expect that it would relapse along with a severe intensification.

‘That was the moment when I decided to tie the nuptial knot with my childhood friend Jared inside the ICU’, said the lady. All this was made possible only due the woman’s friend Nalen who proposed with the idea of getting married in front of her dad inside the ICU.

She and Jared were supposed to get married in October, but the duo changed their plan abruptly.

They decided to get married before the girl’s ailing father who is seeming to be on the verge of dying.

She says that the entire wedding spree took place within a short span of 30 minutes and they exchanged all the essential marital vows in front of her ailing dad.

She also said how Jared‘s and her father were good friends to each other, hence the entire ceremony was giving off an ambivalent feeling to both of them.

The bride said that after they finalized this decision, some of her close friends rushed to an apparel shop to get a wedding dress for her and they finally got married inside the ICU.

My dad’s condition is a little stable now and all credit goes to the St. Vincent Evansville.

Hopefully, he will recuperate from his degenerative condition very soon, the bride says. Both the bride and the groom didn’t expect that they would have to get married in such a unique manner. Hopefully, the duo will lead a blissful married life ahead.
