Gwyneth Paltrow is selling candles that smell like her vagina.
The scented candles were being sold for $75 and have already sold out!
Comedian Adam Ray suggested on social media that The Yankee Candle Company should also do something to keep up with potential competitors by selling candles that smell like The Rock’s balls.
“It was only a matter of time until normal scented candles would be out of style. Your move Yankee Candle Co. Time to get @therock to sell candles that smell like his balls. Price is Right ONE DOLLAR her, and sell them for $74. #vaginacandles #gwenythpaltrow #balls #therock,” Adam Ray wrote on Instagram.
The 47-year-old actor responded to his post: “Brother I tried to make those candles but I kept burning my balls. So I moved on to shampoo,” adding the hashtag #scentofsac.
Gwyneth Paltrow also got involved and said: “This is f***ing priceless.”
Her famous creation began as a joke between her and Douglas Little, a perfumer. According to the Goop website, the actor blurted out, ‘Uhhh, this smells like a vagina,’ as the two worked on a fragrance.
The description went on to say that the candle ‘evolved into a funny, gorgeous, sexy, and beautifully unexpected scent.’
So what exactly does it smell like? According to Paltrow, the perfume is a blend of citrusy bergamot, cedar absolutes, geranium, ambrette seed, and juxtaposed with Damask rose.
One internet user commented: “Sold out. WTH Fucking sold them out.”
Another wrote: “You need Goop brand Paltrow Sn@tch scented candle for 500 dollars to brighten up your day sir!”
A third added: “If I want Paltrow like stench permeating my house, I can open a $1.59 can of tuna and let it stand for 3 days and I am golden.”
