The Rock or Dwayne Johnson is known for his devotion to working out and his muscled physique.
He also gives people what they want and welcomes everything that comes his way with his huge arms!
Before he even became the popular The Rock, he already became the highest paid actor in the history of Forbes Celebrity 100. He also spent some time as a football player for the University of Miami.
Dwayne also played as a defensive lineman for the Calgary Stampeders. Even though he wasn’t able to reach the top level, his former teammates remember the actor fondly.
Former Stampeder Stu Laird said: “He was like a Greek god, the wives all loved him.”
George Hopkins, Stampeders equipment manager, said: “You do remember certain people… You could see that he had a charisma, he had that dazzling smile even back at that point.”
Then, he swapped football for wrestling and placed himself on the path to superstardom. Even though Dwayne had many roles in his career, his incredible size always remained. Maintaining such rock hard bod is not easy!
The actor takes on around 5,000 calories a day, consuming 2.3 pounds of cod as well as chicken, egg, potatoes, vegetables, and steak.
With his charm, physique, rigged determination and talents, the former football player and wrestler was considered the highest paid actor in the history of Forbes Celebrity 100 list. He also ranked fifth overall on 2018’s Celebrity 100!
But like all people, he wasn’t born perfect. His old football team also agreed that it was a nice time to remind him about it.
The Calgary Stampeders posted on Twitter one of Dwayne’s old headshots during his sportsman days. They wrote: “Now that’s a nice headshot, eh @TheRock? #FlashbackFriday”
The Rock replied:
“6’5 280lbs of hungry nightmare (or thirsty dream pending one’s perspective). Also not sure why I thought shaving my goatee but keep my beard was a good choice. Someone throw chunky smiles over here another waffle. #RookieHeadShot #CFL #Calgary”
