We have been meant to believe that e-cigarettes can be our best friends in our fight against tobacco filled cigarettes.
But is this even true? We have been forced to believe they are safe, but the truth is, they are not.
The scientists have come up with a warning for all the users of e-cigarettes that they harm our lungs too. They harm our lungs less than tobacco ones but they are not very behind in the competition.
A research was carried out, and the lead scientist made an urge in the public’s benefit to ‘cautious skepticism’ on the safety of this device.
Public Health Department of England supported these cigarettes since 2015 stating that they were 95% less harmful. Last September they promoted e-cigarettes as an aid to run free from tobacco cigarettes.
Finally, the clinical guidelines watchdog NICE, another official body told GP’s not to promote them as there is no solid proof for them being safe.
A finding was published in the BMJ thorax journal that vaping can lead to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or any other disability associated with tobacco smoking. They contain liquid nicotine to supplement tobacco.
An expert in respiratory medicine, Professor David Thickett said, E-cigarettes are seemingly less harmful but they can never be considered safe. So it’s better not to use them if you are already in a fight with yourself against smoking.
Choose wisely what you are putting yourself before you actually put yourself in something. Be Rational.
