A restaurant in New Zealand monetarily contributed the rugby star Israel Folau’s dining bill to a LGBT community.
Although, it’s has always been a fact that Folau have never ever been a supporter of the LGBT community and he has even lost his career in the arena of rugby for being dubbed as homophobic and also for the statement he cited on the enactment of the Australian legislation on same sex marriage and abortion by calling it as extreme weather conditions.
After Folau with his wife Mary came to dine to Gorilla Kitchen, an eatery located in Auckland Australia and after they payed their bill and went away, the Gorilla Kitchen decided to contribute this amount to the Youth Rainbow which comprised of mentally devastated people who comprise an essential part of the LGBT community.
We are proud to say that Israel Folau and his wife have unintentionally displayed their support for the Rainbow youth.
Instead of imposing their set of beliefs on Folau and his wife, the staff of the Gorilla Kitchen chose to connect the inadvertent support of Israel and his wife for the LGBT community.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison also ridiculed Israel’s statement as being appallingly insensitive as well as opined on Folau for having a lack of empathy for hundreds and thousands of people burning in the fire of contempt.
Although, Morrison himself did not put his vote for the same sex marriage bill, but he did not support this event either and now arises the question that whether Folau and his wife will at all say anything on the donation of their bill or not.
Folau had even ignited the fire by until recently drawing a comparison of the same sex marriage and abortion with drought as well as bushfire.
