The times are tough and small businesses are struggling to survive.

The government has promised to pay some amount to the workers of small businesses who are not able to get their salaries because of no income to the business.

With businesses closing down everywhere in the country, The Shape of You star Ed Sheeran also had to close down his bar where he had a staff of 10 members.

But disregarding that, he had taken the responsibility to pay its staff on its own with no help from the government.

He runs his bar in partnership with his manager Stuart Camp.

The government had announced that business owners can take 80% of the salaries to pay to their staff. A spokesperson for Ed Sheeran said that they will not be taking any furloughing, loans, grants, or any sort of help to pay to their Bertie Blossoms’s staff.

The restaurant was launched last year with a grand party attended by several renowned stars.

While Ed is paying its entire staff on his own. On the other hand, Victoria Beckham, who also owns her fashion line and has 30 employees working for her has furloughed for them.

Beckhams are worth hundreds of million and are still going for the grant. This has made them receive a lot of backlash and criticism from MPs, and other authorities.

Her decision has made her be the target of a lot of criticism as people are mad at them for putting more pressure on the government even after having a massive amount of wealth to themselves.

People are criticizing her even more by comparing her to ED who has not accepted any grant even after having almost half of their net worth.
