A major explosion targeted the bus near the Museum at Egypt’s Giza Pyramid, which injured 17 people.
Till now there are no reports about the person who is involved behind this blast, but the police are trying their best to find out.
As the bus was passing by the area, there was a device which caused the explosion and injured 17 tourists.
The ambulance immediately came on the spot, but till now there are no reports about any deaths. According to the recent reports, there are 7 South Africans and ten Egyptians who got injured in the blast.
A witness claimed that they heard a loud explosion noise when they were stuck in the traffic.
The bus had 25 tourists when the explosion took place, and after the explosion, all the windows were blown out damaging the bus.
There was a big hole caused after the blast on the road.
Thankfully the injuries were not severe, and till now there are no reports of deaths. It is a second incident that took place in the last six months, which targeted the tourists.
There was a blast during December which targeted Vietnamese tourists around the Giza pyramids in Egypt.
The explosions started just after the Egypt tourism was growing again. There was a difficult period for Egyptians, which was caused because of violence and political turmoil.
The road near the pyramid is commonly used by the tour buses which travel to the Great Pyramid of Giza. Soon, the Museum will fully open for the public in 2020, and it will have all the Tutankhamun artifacts.
