This latest optical illusion will leave you squinting your eyes!
The brainteaser was first posted on Reddit, and the image features a black-and-white drawing of a massive elephant.
However, brainteaser enthusiasts are left confused over how many legs the elephant has, as they all seem to merge into one another!
This optical illusion is believed to have first appeared during the 1980s, and due to the vintage brainteaser’s increasing popularity, it’s back to divide the internet.
The challenge is simple, players have to figure out how many legs this majestic beast has.

If you found four legs, you’re not wrong. If you count five, you’re not wrong either. Because nobody can agree on the correct answer.
Some Redditors argue that the elephant has six legs, while others think the answer maybe seven.
Despite the confusion on the number of legs, one person claims that there is a definite answer to the optical illusion, even though people never noticed it at first look.
According to this eagle-eyed observer, the elephant in the vintage sketch has only ONE leg.
“The only correct elephant leg in the drawing is the back left leg,” the person said. “That leg is completely intact, but the others aren’t.”
“If you look very closely, you’ll see that the rest of the legs have the foot missing from them,” the person explained. “Basically, the artist chopped the feet off of the legs and put the images of the feet between the actual legs.”
“Look closely at the image and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about.”
