Ellen DeGeneres is now fed up of dancing and is seriously thinking to retire from the long-running hit show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
“There’s been times someone wants a picture, and while I’m doing a selfie, they’re like: ‘You’re not dancing!’”
“Of course I’m not dancing. I’m walking down the street” DeGeneres said in her office on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, Calif.
People consider her TV’s nicest host but in person, she is blunter.
Fellow comedian Tig Notaro said:
“Being trapped in the world of being asked to dance and expected to be nice, it’s real”
“I’m sure there’s people who think she’s kidding. Or can’t have a bad day. But she does. It’s an interesting pickle she’s in.”
Tig Notaro also said that Ellen is “a real person with a foul mouth.”
The main reason behind why Ellen wants to retire is DeGeneres’ wife, Portia de Rossi who believes that DeGeneres doesn’t show her full self on the daytime program.
“I just think she’s such a brilliant actress and standup that it doesn’t have to be this talk show for her creativity. There are other things she could tackle.” Rossi told The New York Times.
Well, we absolutely love Ellen on her show but all these things prove she is different than what she appears on her show.
