Ellen DeGeneres has decided to sell off one of her final US properties after famously beginning her new life in the English countryside with her wife Portia De Rossi last year.
The couple made this decision to move to the UK following the celeb talk show host’s toxic workplace scandal that really took a toll on her career in Hollywood.
This month, the pair listed their two-bedroom and two-bathroom residence in Montecito for sale for nearly $5 million on March 10 which is nearly four years after they purchased it for a whopping $2.9 million.
Two weeks later, the 1691-square-foot Spanish bungalow was sold for $5.2 million. As per reports from People, the property went into escrow on Thursday after getting multiple offers within two days of hitting the market.
The stunning residence boasts 1691 square feet of space and the private primary suite boasts its own patio, spa, and plenty of generous space.
Despite having a rough start in the country, the pair has grown to the UK country that also features plenty of other leading celebrities in the neighborhood. Therefore, it’s now confirmed that they have no plans of returning back to the US.
