Emily Ratajkowski is lambasted online after sharing a photo of herself carrying her three-month-old baby.
In a series of photos, Emily can be seen holding her son, Sylvester while on holiday with her husband Sebastian Bear-McClard to celebrate her 30th birthday.
Even if Emily turned off the Instagram comments, the critics went to Twitter to criticize the way she was holding her infant, with some of the users insisting he didn’t have any neck support.
The Instagram photos show the model mom carrying her son with one arm and holding him on the side of her body to show off her string bikini from her Inamorata line. While baby Sylvester wore a pair of matching swim trunks, hinting that Emily might have a baby line that is currently in the works.
“Bday eve with the dream vacation partner,” Emily captioned the snaps.
Some photos show that she is holding Sylvester to her chest with one arm while posing for the camera. The baby’s head is seen lobbed to the side and his feet are dangling.
Other photos show the new mom adjusting Sylvester in her arms and cuddling him close.
On Twitter, one user shared a side-by-side photo of Emily carrying her child next to a photo of her carrying a dog.
“Why does she hold small helpless beings like a textbook?” the user tweeted.
The tweet has gathered more than 140,000 likes in less than 24 hours after posting and nearly 9,000 retweets.
“NO neck support lmfaooo wtf,” one person commented.
“And no butt support for the doggy lol,” another one added.
“How can a mother hold her baby like that wtf,” another person asked.
Meanwhile, some users said that Emily was holding her infant like an ‘accessory.’
“It’s like she uses them as accessories,” a Twitter user said.
“She’s holding them like an accessory, glad I’m not the only [one] who thought it was strange…” another one added.
Some users also suggested that Emily wanted to brag her almost impossible postpartum body in the photos, which led her to hold little Sylvester to the side.
“Cus it’s just a prop for her photo and she doesn’t want anything hiding her body…. kinda weird if u think too much into it,” one person pointed out.
“Who cares about the baby?” another user commented. “But it’s unacceptable to hold a dog like that.”
Other critics, however, were less interested in Emily’s baby and more curious about how she achieved such a slim body just three months after giving birth.
“Hahaha but I questioning a LOT how she keeps in shape during and after pregnancy????!!!’ one Twitter user asked.
“Super curious how she has a bomb bod after having a baby in a short period of time,’” another one added.
