Eminem is back again with another album, dropping his 11th LP ‘Music to be Murdered By’ featuring the likes of Ed Sheeran, Skylar Grey, Royce Da 5’9, Young M.
A, late rapper Juice WRLD, and more!
However, the rapper quickly caused controversy with his ‘disgusting’ line about the attack on Ariana Grande’s concert at Manchester Arena.
While many people were happy with the album, others noticed the line in one song that referenced the Manchester Arena attack, which took the lives of 22 people.
The controversial song is titled ‘Unaccomodating’ in which the he raps: “But I’m contemplating yelling ‘Bombs away’ on the game/Like I’m outside of an Ariana Grande concert waiting.”
One internet user wrote: “Always had respect for Eminem but who tf makes a joke about a terrorist attack that killed innocent kids and permanently wounded others? Ariana still hasn’t healed from it either. I hope the 10 minutes of clout was worth it.”
Another tweeted: “Eminem literally just made a joke about the Manchester bombing at Ariana Grande’s concert… that is just so f***ing sick, y’all better not give this man any attention. people literally lost their lives, and you’re going to release music and try to make a profit off of them?”
A third added: “You’re so disgusting I hope u know that….. what u said was very uncalled for and so hurtful to so many people.”
The song also mentioned Machine Gun Kelly (But when they ask me is the war finished with MGK? Of course it is / I cleansed him of his mortal sins, I’m God, I’m the Lord, forgives even the devil worshippers!) and Juice WRLD, who passed away at the age of 21 after suffering a seizure.
