It was one fine day that Julia Stultz went out shopping.
She expected nothing else more than her routine shopping that she normally does for her kids. Like many other moms do, she was ready to pick the colorful items that would bring joy to her kids. That was when something extraordinary happened. Everything changed when she spotted an envelope on the floor!
Julia didn’t hesitate to pick up this card that was lying on the floor of the boys’ clothing section.
The card was wrapped in an envelope and had a note saying: “With Love, Amen.” That raised the curiosity of Julia who wanted to discover more about the card.
There was also another note on the back of the envelope saying, “If you have come across this card, then just open it. It is all yours.” Julia was more than curious to know the content of the card. At this point, everyone would start to wonder and raise several issues about the card, but Julia was different.
It might sound like a movie to some of us. It is raising suspense and be eager to know what would unfold next.
It is possible that some people would take the card to the workers of the store or just leave it there lying on the floor. It is a common practice that has been witnessed not once when the found items within the store have been taken to the attendants who might try to identify their owners. But not in this case.
She took it upon herself to know the content of the envelope. And so, she opened it. She didn’t know what to expect but there lied a $100 cash.
It was not just the cash only. Next to it was a message that moved Julia almost to tears, though, she remained grateful. She didn’t know how to thank the person who left her the anonymous gift. Even if she were to do it, she wouldn’t make it as there was no contact information.
The message read: “May this gift bring you a little peace today. One day, please pay it forward. May the blessing of God be on you always.” The statement has a powerful message to whoever would have received the gift. Though in this case, It was Julia who picked the random gift to help settle her shopping bill.
The card had nothing more apart from the signature that read’ “Your friend.”
It was hard for Julia to believe her luck. She felt sad that she might not find an opportunity to thank the person who left the card there, but all the same, she was grateful for it.
It seemed like a game that is being played. The message left with the cash was meant to inspire you to do the same one day when you are at your best.
Just to pay for someone anonymously and let them be grateful for it. It is a chain that is meant to proceed as long as no one breaks it. The only rule of the game is to remain anonymous so that whoever comes across the card would see you as a blessing angel.
