An optical illusion showing a series of faces embedded in a tree has been making rounds on the internet.
If you like optical illusions and hide-and-seek puzzles, we’ve got the perfect treat for you. In the challenge below, you can find the faces of various national leaders of India such as Mahatma Gandhi and Indira Gandhi.
Though the picture was presumably created sometime back in the late 19th century by an unidentified Harper’s Bazaar illustrator, it is still commonly shared on social media where it baffles newer generations.
How many faces did you spot? Did you have to look twice to see some of them? Which one was the hardest to see?
Before revealing the answer, check out the picture below again and try to find all of the faces hiding in the tree.
If you managed to spot 7 faces, you did a pretty good job. However, you still missed several faces hiding in the tree. While 9 faces would be a better answer, this too is not the total number of faces that can be found in the picture.
As it happens, there are a total of TEN faces of national leaders of India in the picture presented. If you only managed to find 9 or fewer, feel free to give the picture another try before scrolling down for the solution.
