A Brooklyn gynecologist Kennisha Gilbert and her husband tried to excavate the tenants from their apartment but were threatened openly.
Sources revealed that 48-years-old Roger Charles and his wife rented their upstairs apartment a couple two years ago.
The couple left the apartment after some time, but their son Rayon Service started living in the apartment with his friend and a few dogs. The number of dogs was increasing day by day, and they all were kept in cages. The boy and his friend never bothered to take care of their pets, and the poor animals were forced to live in a dirty environment.
Overall, 21 dogs were kept in the apartment, and their cleanliness was completely ignored by the owners. This situation was unacceptable for the couple, and they tried their best to make the tenants leave their house. Unfortunately, they failed every time and also faced severe consequences on this demand. The couple and their children were threatened, and their lives were in danger due these two dog owners.
The boys who took the apartment on rent, were not even paying the rent anymore. Charles and his wife filed a case against them in court in the previous year. The NYPD’s Animal Cruelty Investigation Squad helped them and arrested the two boys and took the dogs as well.
One of those tenants was released from the custody of the police. With 3 other people, he attacked the owners of his rented apartment.
Gilbert and her husband were injured, and they shared their pictures on social media as well. After some time, the authorities took serious action and again arrested the by and his fellows who attacked the innocent couple.
This time all the attackers are were kept in police custody and were still not released.
